US Patent Rule Change Seminar

The proposed rule change (Jan. 2006) was finalized and announced (
Federal Register
) on August 21, 2007. The presentation will be made about how to prepare the new rules.
Limitation in the continuation practice (please refer to
highlight
) and other major changes are made such that a new strategy may be needed. The USPTO prepared
Slide
and explained the new rules. However, it is the applicant and agent that decide what to do.
The presentation may be focused on what should be done before November 1, 2007.
Since the seminar is urgently planned, the contents of the seminar may be changed without the pre-notice.
