Patent practice in Europe is changing considerably due to implementation of
EPC2000
(the first major
revision of the EPO for 35 years) and the
London Agreement
. The talk will discuss how these
changes can be taken advantage of by patent owners and patent practitioners. The talk will also
discuss important developments in EPO Board of Appeals case law relating to pharmaceuticals and
biotechnology practice
