US Patent Application Seminar With Key Points

Now, it is gradually revealed how the US patent application is actually examined under the America Invents Act (AIA) having been in force since March 16, 2013. The lecture covers how the disclosure before filing the patent application is effective under the first-inventor-to-file system and what is supposed to do in order for the applicant to cope with such disclosure. It is explained how the examination guidelines of the USPTO are utilized and how the decisions of patent-related cases by the supreme court affect actual practices. For example, a way to handle such a case is discussed in detail when the patentability of the subject matter is questioned with respect to a computer-related invention and a business method invention.
