Tricks for US Patent Prosecution including Replying to AIA actions --- Effective ways to respond to office actions ---- The AIA took effect about two years ago, but it is only now that we are staring to see Office Actions on applications filed under this new law (and thus applying the new rules). An overview of these rules will be made. Then, some pitfalls are explained. Special techniques to avoid such pithalls will be lectured. Further, part of 2014 Interim Guidance on Subject Matter Eligibility ( 2014 Interim Eligibility Guidance Quick Reference Sheet, Nature-Based Product Examples, Abstract Idea Examples ) will be explained.
