US-Japan Written Requirement Comparison (BEST MODE)

--- How to Prepare Specification ----

Due to the different legal systems, the written requirement may not be the same. For example, the best mode requirement differs in both countries. The best mode may generally lie in so-called know-how, which the applicant would like to keep confidential. Such best mode requirement is explained in referenct to the recent court decision: TALtech v. Esquel and the lecturer's experiences. Further, a recent case ( ITC Investigation) may be referred to (in detail, 337-TA-571). Further, what is called know-how in the United States will be explained. And the talk may extend to how to protect it along with how to handle the tradesecret. A simple best mode requirement test (evaluation version) will be made. Please come to try it (a trial sample is attached hereto.). Some workshop will be conducted such that attendees understand the best mode better through the discussion.
