The patentable subject matter will be discussed based on several decisions in the US courts. SCOTUS statements in LabCorp. v. Metabolite and Microsoft v. AT&T will be discussed. In re Bilski may be referred to. Then, Classen Immunotherapies, Inc. v. Biogen IDEC is also discussed in order to grasp recent trends of the patentable subject matter based on the court decisions. The presentation will be in Japanese and please come to the conference with ease.
